RMPA lunchtime meeting:

All members are advised that the next regular RMPA lunchtime meeting for members, together with wives or partners, will now be in the Wings Room at the RAAFA Club, Bullcreek on Thursday 24th June 2010 at midday. Lunch is off the blackboard menu.

In view of the success of our recent community and media awareness campaign, we are expecting quite a large number of special guests and new members attending this lunchtime meeting. Indeed, I am hoping that one of our guests from a specialised career background will be giving a most interesting and informative talk after our lunch.

Our confirmed branch membership base has already exceeded the fifty member mark with other expressions of interest already in the pipeline. I anticipate RMPA Western Australia Branch will be around the sixty member mark by the time of the 2010 AGM!

I now ask that all local members and their ladies to please make every effort in attending this lunchtime meeting to extend a welcome to our guests. As Eric Heath will be looking after the seating and catering arrangements, please now contact Eric Heath on (08) 9291 8962 to confirm your attendance. Please bring plenty of spare loose change as the branch raffle will be in aid of the ‘PMH Foundation’ at the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. If any member would like to donate a small prize for the raffle, please let Eric know – it would be most appreciated.

Members are encouraged to invite guests to any of our future regular RMPA lunch time meetings. I would also ask that you first contact Eric Heath so that Eric can coordinate arrangements, and provide me sufficient background information in allowing me to make a short introductory Chairman’s welcome to your guest(s).

For those few members who have overlooked their 2010 branch membership fees ($25 -full membership or $20 – HBM); please now send them to our Branch Treasurer, Steve O’Connor at 16 Hartleap Lane, Beldon WA 6027. If any fees remain outstanding by the start of June, then I will be asking Geoff Harland, Branch Secretary to follow up on an individual basis.
